My darling little "sister" asked me to design a 20s, Art Deco-styled wedding suite for her wedding in June. Over the course of the project created my own font (inspired by "Park Lane" & "Broadway Inline"). This suite pushed me out my comfort zone because I had never designed something in this style, but in the end, it turned out beautifully. Honestly, I think it's my best work to-date.

Sarah (Roth) Parks was my big sister my freshman year of high school, so doing her wedding invitations was a honor! She wanted a simple New Orleans theme. I had been working on this fluer de lis illustration for while and wasn't sure if I'd ever use it, but when Sarah contacted me about her wedding, I instantly knew it would have a place on her invites. Because of their families skewing older in age, Sarah & Lawrence requested that the fonts be legible and big, which was a bit of a challenge.

My first wedding project of 2018 involved a lovely couple, Mary & Mason, who met at church and instantly fell in love. Inspired by their "love at first sight" story I created this invitation suite with simple and true romance in mind.

This save the date was a special one for me because it was for my high school best friend's wedding. Sarah and Rob planned a New Orleans wedding, so for the save the date they wanted to invoke the old-world feel of the French Quarter. I illustrated the lamppost and brick details (on the back) for that extra New Orleans flair.

My first-ever wedding suite was for my best friend, Maria. She came to me with a vague idea of what she wanted, but I knew right away what I was going to design - love birds! Her and her husband are outdoorsy types, but Maria's affinity for birds inspired this suite.
