This project was a supplemental piece to my portfolio for an interview. I wanted to show that I could design multiple, cohesive pieces for a marketing campaign, as well as keeping in mind that such events usually include some type of call-to-action.
As for the design of the poster and banners, I wanted to invoke the spirit of inquiry and mystery - what do sea creatures really do while we sleep? For the brochure, I wanted it to appeal more to children, hence using pictures of a clown fish and blue surgeon fish which most would associate with Pixar's "Finding Nemo" and "Finding Dory." The main call-to-action of the brochure is the registration form, which parents could tear off and mail to the aquarium's event department.
